Service Commitment

The American Heart Association’s mission is to reduce disability and death from cardiovascular disease and stroke.  The strategic impact goal is to reduce coronary heart disease and stroke risk by 25% by 2010.

The links in the Chain of Survival are interventions that will improve the outcomes for victims of cardiac and respiratory emergencies and stroke.

Chain of Survival:  Early Access (911). Early CPR.  Early Defibrillation.  Early Advance Life Support.

There are approximately 3500 Community Training Centers in the country.  The International Heart Institute of Montana Foundation, in partnership with Saint Patrick Hospital, is one of the centers.

We are here to strengthen the Chain of Survival.

Immediate CPR can double the chance of survival!  If more people knew CPR, more lives could be saved!
