What if I have a group of people at my work that need a CPR or First-Aid class?
Dependent on size, we can find an instructor to come to you or arrange for a class to be held at Saint Patrick Hospital.
If you have 5 or more people that are interested in a class, please contact us via email at info@ihimontanafoundation.org with the following information: name, location, number of participants, class needed, dates/deadlines.
Are there self-taught/computer options?
Yes, there are. Friends & Family Programs do not provide you with a personalized certification card, but are extremely helpful programs for families, babysitters, and the general community.
You can use any of the following websites to explore this option: www.eworldpoint.com, www.aha.channing-bete.com, or www.laerdal.com. There are three programs:
Item #80-1066 entitled “CPR Anytime for Family and Friends”. The cost is $29.95 plus shipping and handling.
Item #80-1403 entitled “Infant CPR Anytime Kit” is $34.95 plus shipping and handling.
Although not yet sold in a kit, there is a new program called Family & Friends First-Aid for Children. The DVD item # is 80-1032 and costs $28.50. The workbook is sold in packs of 5 (item #80-1034) for $7.50.
